Maison Bâtard presents Torbreck Vintners, welcoming Chief Winemaker Ian Hongell for an immersive wine dinner on Thursday 7 May, in Le Salon. Grounded in the Barossa’s deep winemaking heritage, Torbreck’s approach is defined by provenance, patience and an unwavering commitment to Rhône varietals. Sourced from some of the region’s oldest vines, with plantings dating back to the 1840s. Each wine reflects both the richness of the land and a clear, focused vision for its future.
Guests will be guided through a considered selection of wines across the evening, paired with a bespoke menu by Executive Chef Adam Sanderson, created with seasonal produce to compliment each pour, while remaining true to the Maison Bâtard name.
Tickets $455. Limited seats available, book now to avoid disappointment.
This Mother's Day, there is no more fitting setting than Maison Bâtard. Whether she's long been a regular or is yet to discover us, we'd love to welcome her, and the people she holds closest, for a celebration as considered and generous as she deserves.
For the occasion, Executive Chef Adam Sanderson has crafted a special Chef's Selection menu at $135pp, drawing on the flavours and warmth that define the Maison Bâtard table. Begin with house-baked baguette and Comté gougères before moving through elegant entrées and grand plats — including our signature rôtisserie chicken with green olives — and finishing on a sweet note with Maison Bâtard's classic mousse au chocolat, made with Belgian chocolate and topped with crème Chantilly.
Thoughtful. Indulgent. Unmistakably French.
